The chocolateay-bitter touch of stout beer, chocolate, cocoa, and sweet finish makes this chocolate sauce the perfect chocolate sauce to serve with pancakes, ice cream, french toast, or whatever you like.

Chocolate and stout beer?

Yes, the answe ris always yes. Chocolate & stout are sooo delicious, one of my favorite flavors. I still remember the first time I tasted it around 10 years ago and how surprising it was.

Since that moment, when chocolate and stout beer were not common as desserts in Spain, since nowadays I’ve taste different combinations and I can tell you that this chocolate stout sauce is perfect to serve with your desserts and you can prepare it in just 5 minutes.

To cook and bake my beer desserts I always use Ordum beer, because it has a soft flavor that combines well with chocolate, and Ordum beer is produced in Asturias, where I am from, using Borines natural spring water.

As I mentioned on the beer tiramisu recipe, if you visit Asturias, in the North of Spain, I recommend to visit their small factory because they are located in a beautiful small village.

  1. This is an excellent variation from the traditional chocolate sauce. I already have a list of desserts that would go perfectly with it.
